I'm not what you'd call a morning person, but I have made efforts to shift my schedule to wake up earlier in the morning. I never consider how a shift in schedule would affect your eating habits and thus, your blood sugar. Thank you for this unique perspective.
You discuss the effects of sugar in your coffee, but what also deserves a mention is the effects of caffeine on one's health. It is a drug after all. We all like the energy lift it offers us, but we must remember that too much caffeine causes nervousness, dizziness, headaches, fast heart rate, anxiety and dependance and the list goes on.
I like your idea of switching to herbal teas, although I still need to sweeten those. Maybe switching to a sweetener like Stevia would be a workaround. You've sure given us a lot to think about. Thank you.
